Damn it feels good to be...
Stop sending Think before you print

Some people insist of including "Think before you print" signatures in their emails. This is kind of double standards, as they are causing damage to the environment by merely include this in all their emails. An example is the image below.

This image is 13 060 bytes large, and to send that many bytes causes approximately 0,00004 milligrams of CO2 to be released - given that my calculations and references are correct. And that's just for one email.


Calculation:

0,0000000000000000034 * 13060 * 1000000000

Metric tons of CO2 per byte * the number of bytes * convert from tons to milligrams
